How to get started as a Virtual Assistant?

Updated: Nov 25, 2019

Most of us especially moms never want to leave our kids to babysitters. We want to watch them grow, witness every milestone they would make and comfort them whenever they get sick.

As our world innovates by the power of technology, we could earn from home while not feeling guilty and compromising our responsibilities to our loved ones. Plus you don't need to get stuck in traffic and you can simply work at your own time and place! Less hassle!

Working from home, on your set schedule, from your own comfort, and making big money is not always as glamorous as it might seem. Becoming a Virtual Assistant and mastering it requires time and patience, along with some smart work and dedication.

With the digital world we have right now, just a few tools like basic skills, high speed internet and a PC/Laptop and you are already equipped to start earning from home!

But these tools are not enough to start in freelancing world nowadays because the competition is a bit high compared to before. You need to stand out from your competition to get hired and land higher paying gigs.

As a newbie in this industry - all are new to me. From making my resume and application letter in a colorful and unique way to finding clients from different professional networking sites.

I don't have guidelines where to start my journey to the freelancing world. However, there is an academy where you can enhance your skills, unleash your inner self and develop your skills that you don't know exists. Thanks to Coach Julmar Grace Locsin of FVA Academy for helping me out through this journey. She is such an expert in this field. You can enrol to them and start your journey as a Virtual Assistant in no time!

There is no shortcut to success as many have said and the learning process never stops. Everyday is different and a new challenge is just around the corner.
